4 Year Old Kindergarten
The 4 Year Old Program (year before school) is 15 hours per week and subsidised by the Victorian Department of Education and Training (DET). Children are supported in their learning with a rich sensory environment that promotes questions, thoughtful investigation and a culture of inquiry. Play is an important part of our program as the children cement and practice their learning through playful investigation.
Throughout the year we focus on independence, interdependence, building confidence, forming relationships, resilience, problem solving, and so much more. The program is designed and catered for each of the children in the groups, offering different experiences as their interests are unique and evolving. We use the children’s interests and curiosities to help guide and teach skills, and concepts for life and future education.
