Sian Pearson
Teacher and Educational Leader

My name is Sian Pearson. I began teaching at Rolling Hills Preschool in 2018.  I have been working with children since 2001 and have been a kindergarten teacher since 2008. I have worked in a variety of sessional kindergartens in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. I love working with children and their families and seeing the amazing learning that occurs during the kindergarten years. I hold a Bachelor of Early Childhood Teach and a Bachelor of speech and hearing Science. I have a strong focus on social and language development and the development of pre-literacy skills.

When I'm not working I'm at home with my two children Ella and Finley, my husband and our crazy Labrador.

Tegan Campbell
Teacher and Sprouts Co-ordinator

Tegan began at Rolling Hills Preschool in 2022 after working as a relief teacher at the kindergarten in term 4, 2021.  She holds a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Teaching) and has worked in the industry for over 10 years. Tegan’s passion for working with early aged children is underpinned by the belief that every child has the right to develop in a positive, safe, nurturing learning environment, focused on their individual needs. Tegan has had experience working with children with additional needs, including those with spectrum diagnoses, challenging behaviour, physical impairments and emotional anxiety.  She recognises that families and parents are the first teacher for every child and values building mutually positive relationships with families to ensure optimal learning outcomes are achieved for every child.

Julie Schlittler
Educator

Julie has been an integral part of the Rolling Hills Preschool for over a decade, continuing to assist our educators in running the three and four-year-old programs. She holds a Diploma of Community Services in Child Care and recently obtained a training certificate to facilitate Mother Goose programs. This program nurtures and strengthens attachment and interaction between parents or carers and their young children through the joy and power that comes from using rhymes, songs and stories together.

Julie also does an excellent job running our Sprouts Toddler Group that is for children aged two years and over, during which their parent or carer stays and enjoys a special time interacting with their child in a range of activities. This can help ease the child's transition into kindergarten. She is a loving wife to her husband and mother to three beautiful girls.
